So I have a Bold 9650 that underwent a submersion about a year ago. I replaced it with a newer Bold. The old one actually powers on, and seems to be totally functional except that the major keys across the top (green, menu, trackpad click, back, and red) give garbage characters when depressed... for example when you press the green key you get "b$". Thus it is very difficult to do anything. The rest of the keys seem to work fine.

Is there a way I can navigate to my SMS messages using only the keys that work? By the way, the track pad itself works fine, just not the clicking function. I'd just like to read my older text messages again if I can.
