Replacement 9650 Does not charge on standard charger.

New Replacement BB Bold 9650 from Verizon only charges using the Seido Rapid charger. When I connect the standard chargers for example my blackberry brand charger, the Lightning Bolt stays solid and only maintains the battery level. What do I need to do? I am leaving town on Friday and just got the phone yesterday!

Is the battery new as well? Have you tried a different battery?

No, i am thinking it happened only because device was warm.... still happens once phone feels warm and i try to charge.

Sorry for the late response. My 9650 has the same problem. Burns through a batter every. Three. Months. I have to use a cradle charger on it. If you goto YouTube, there are videos on how to stripnthe wires on a usb cable and tape them to the cradle charging ports. This will work until u get a cradle charger. My 9650 will connect to desktop, but just won't take a charge thro the micro usb, even though it says it is charging.
