Default Poor reception after I got my BB fixed from Sprint

About a month ago I was taking out the groceries from the car and when I was done I noticed that the LCD on my phone somehow got cracked. The next day I took it into Sprint and since I am paying for insurance they ordered parts for me and fixed it the day after that. I had mixed feelings about how the whole situation was handled but I got my phone fixed for free. BUT now my reception has been very poor and I have been getting dropped calls. I am not sure what I should do about this but it kind of sucks.

I would take it back to the store and tell them that you are losing signal. There is a chance that they nicked the antenna connectors in the phone or did not attach them back on to the board after fixing the LCD. I would try to update the PRL and Profile on the phone first.

It does sound like they might have damaged the antenna. I agree I'd take it back to the store.

I will be heading to the Sprint store later today but I am worried that they will think that I have been messing with the phone because I noticed in the back of the phone two screws are missing and that must have been from the last time I got my phone fixed from Sprint. Sounds kind of odd to me, and I just noticed it the other day.

:/. You know fixing the LED thing yourself would take less that 5 minutes and probably around 10 dollars?
    Or 5.
    Or 2.

What LED are you talking about? I guess I could fix the notification LED but mine isn't broken.

I started having poor reception issues about a month ago too. But I hadn't taken my phone in to the store to be fixed. I called them about it today finally and they said they would sent people to work on the towers. :-/

Have you attempted to update your PRL?
Perhaps life is just that...a dream and a fear.

Nope I haven't. I am new to CDMA and I am not sure what updating the PRL does. But I am doing it right now. I didn't make it to the Sprint store today.
