OS 4.7.1.40 Verizon

All,

I am interested in 'downgrading' the OS on a Bold 9650 to Verizon's (or someone else's) OS 4.7.1.40. Is this possible and has anybody done it?

There is no version of OS4.7 available for the 9650.

Yeah, you can't do this. Go on ebay and buy a way older phone...or borrow someone's old 8330 maybe...

4.7 was for Tours and Storms, the 8330 was topped out at OS4.5

Ah. very good info gizmo. I know it's been a long time since I ran a 4.anything on my 8330...when I left it, I had loaded up OS5...
