Default New! Help!

Hello! I got my very first Blackberry yesterday. Before this I had the Droid X, so this is an entirely new world for me. I was able to set up most of what I wanted. However, the one important thing that isn't working for me is the e-mail set-up. I go into set-up, then into e-mail accounts and it goes directly to exsisting users log-in. When I type my g-mail account in an error pops up saying that the username is invalid. When I drop the @gmail.com an error pops up that says my username or password is incorrect. I am extremely frustrated because I have searched for directions on what to do but none of them address this problem. The other thing that I am wondering how to fix is joining my contacts. For whatever reason each contact shows up twice in my address book. One will have the phone number and the second has the e-mail address. I would like to be able to merge them together. My last problem which really isn't a problem so much, but only a few of my contacts have their Facebook picture show up in my address book. I would like for each contact to have their Facebook picture show up. I don't know if there is a manual way to make that happen. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

Here's a couple of suggestions:
1. In email setup you need to enter your BIS login and password. This was probably setup for you at the carrier store. Call your carrier CS if you need help on this.
2. As far as having two contacts in you address book, this sounds like a Gmail sync issue. Once your contacts are synced with Gmail you should be able to login to Gmail on your computer and have it merge contacts.
3. Can't help with Facebook...don't use it.
Hope this helps!

In FB app, highlight contact > BB Menu > Connect to BB Contact

I don't have my FB contacts linked to my BB contact, but I'd guess that should do what you're looking to do.
