New to BB from Android

So I had a 9650 over a year ago for 3 weeks. Love the keyboard but spotted the Droid X and jumped ship. After a year of the droid X I jumped to the BB 9930. Due to the stock battery life, It was not the device for me.
I then a month ago jumped to the Droid Bionic, Its basically a droid X so its nothing "new". So im currently trying to sell the Bionic and bought a 9650.

Of course this is going to be a huge transtion....here are a couple of questions.
1) I plan to get a new navigation/dvd headunit in my car. Its can supposedly stream all audio. Can the 9650 stream calls/text messages/tune-in radio to the headunit?

2) What is the current best OS for the 9650?

3) Has anyone sucussfully found a WHITE BB 9650 housing?

4) Can some point me to a OS 6 learners guide/video session? Like I said, im lost. lol

5) What is the best way to get my Gmail, use the Gmail app?

I have tried every build of OS6 for 9650 and find the the top performer is 6.0.0.587. If you need a working link to this OS, let me know. The last time I tried to get it from the BB website, it wasn't there anymore.

I think the best way to Gmail is by using the native app. Go in to the Setup and add your gmail account that way. The emails are pushed to your device, and if you need to get older messages there is an advanced search that will bring them right to your Bold.

The Gmail app hasn't been updated in a almost 2 years now, and while it works, the BIS Gmail works just as well if not better.

Stream? Not that I know of. Not through BT. I can't stream music through headphones, i don't think you can do it in a car. I can play music from my phone with a cable to the aux jack tho. 3.5mm on each end. So I can listen to TuneIn Radio in the car. Or my storage card. Oh and if I am wrong, someone will correct me and help you further.

Im kinda smiling at the Bionic same as an X comment. I have both and they are like night and day.. Well except for being thicker on one end. And even that was handled different.

But i currently run 524 and i like it.. But would like to try 587. So pcGizmo if you do have a link i would sure like to try it.

i believe if you have the 3.5 the nav will go through speakers.

and also think you can phone call through speakers too with same jack. the mic on your phone will still be active. its been a LONG time since i've done any of that. (if this doesnt work then its prob because it was my paml pre but i'm pretty sure bb does it too)

The 9650 does support A2DP so you can stream audio through bluetooth. I stream podcasts and songs through my jawbone icon all day long.

As far as a car stereo, depending on its capability, I know my bold works pretty good with some features on the new sync system on fords.

My 9650 works better than my IP4 in the car. I have an older car and use a cassette adapter for music. Where both phones work well for music don't even try the iphone for phone calls, feedback city big time. However the 9650 works very well as a hands free phone through the stereo. Just switch it to headset after answering and your golden.
