Need to update profile but dont see it in menu list

Hi so im no newbie to blackberrys but im stumped at this point.

I shipped a friend of mine a blackberry in a different country. she put her sim in and calls and bbm are working fine. Her emails are not going through and neither is internet.

I know i need to update the profile but she says that in mobile network she pushes menu and doesnt see update profile.

Is this even possible? Is there another way to update profile?

She needs to contact her carrier, and provide them the pin and IMEI, so they can set up a BlackBerry dataplan on the phone. Then she'll receive the service books, and be able to setup her email accounts through the setup wizard.

She is in israel and has been using a blackberry for a while there. She is simply switching her sim from one blackberry to another so the data plan should not have changed.

My guess is that it is the service books... But try explaining to somebody who only knows how to communicate with bbm what service books are

I am going to help her work it out and try to check back here with results.
