Missing Edit Signature

Anyone else missing the 'Edit Signature' option under Email Settings on their 9650? I just noticed this afternoon it's not there. I'm running 5.0.0.810 on BES.

Not sure how long it has been missing; if it has been gone since June since I switched from my 8330 to this 9650 or if it was when I upgraded from .732 to .810.

Just wanted to check, I'll probably try downgrading back to .732 to see if it brings it back.

I've actually only got three options under Email Settings; Enable HTML, Download images and Confirm external image download.

I have a 9650 on BES running .732. I have all the options under e-mail settings that I have always had.

Message Services = Desktop
Send e-mail to handheld = yes
Save copy in sent folder = yes
Use auto signature = yes
Signature box
Use out of office reply = no
Enable HTML e-mail = yes
Download images automatically = yes
Confirm external image download = yes

I have been contemplating jumping to .810. Let me know if the roll back to .732 resolved this.

Well, downgrading to .732 brought the missing email settings back; but it completely hosed up my icons.

In the process now of wiping again after making a backup with the default theme and no 3rd party apps installed, in the hopes of fixing them.

Once that's squared away I'll try updating to .810 again. I have a feeling it wasn't .810 that messed up the email settings - but maybe one of the themes I had tried out before I found one I liked.

Upgraded to .810, reactivated on BES, email settings still all there. Now to try the one theme I like...

Putting the theme back hoses the icons. Some of the folders are duplicated, like Media, Instant Messaging - and I have icons for things that shouldn't, like Screen/Keyboard.

Any ideas on how to work through this?

Log in to your BIS email settings and it's in your options there.

For BES users i think you can do it in DM if your administrator has allowed that as an option. It is blockable though fyi.

Hi, I just got a new Bold 9650 from verizon and I am missing the edit signature option as well. I was using a tour previously with no issues

v5.0.0.975 is the Bold OS

anyone figure out how to fix this yet? very annoying

I am talking about the BES, you can edit BIS sigs thru email settings wizard
