lost phone, how to restore new phone
Hey gang,
I went hiking for about 5 miles in the woods today. Got back to the car and found my 9650 was gone. Checked the car frantically and then tried to retrace my steps thru the woods for several miles.
I came back empty handed and had to drive 110 miles home without my blackberry.
Jumped on ebay and snagged a new in box 9650 for $323.
Can anyone tell me how to restore this new phone to the same state as my lost old phone? I opened up desktop manager to just get an idea what I might have to do when my new phone gets here.
I couldnt get past " plug in old phone" because my phone is lying on the forest floor slowly going back to nature.
Can anyone help? -

You had to have backed up before. Then click restore.
I think.

What kind of backup are you planning to restore? If you are talking about a backup from DM, it is only going to be data. You will need to restore your apps first. If you have an app backup done with something like BBSAK, restore that first, then restore the data to the device. If you don't have a backup you will have to download/reinstall your apps one at a time.

Yeah, just restore from your latest backup - that really sucks bro.
But like BoDeb said, it'll just do your data. I hope you got your apps from mobihand.
