Default Looking for a copy of OS 5.x for a Verizon Blackberry 9650

I upgraded my Verizon Blackberry 9650 to OS 6 and now I want to go back to OS 5.x. I can't find OS 5.x anywhere, either on the RIM or Verizon sites; I follow the 5.x links but they take me back to OS 6.

Does anyone have a copy of the 9650 OS 5.x image file for a Verizon Blackberry 9650 that you could post for me to download?

    Thanks

I think if you go here: BlackBerry® Software Updates (and then select your device, etc.)

There is a little line/button at the bottom that says: To downgrade your BlackBerry Device Software, click here.

I think that links to the 5.0.0.975 Verizon software.

    ooooh....duh....I can link that.......

Hi! Glad you got the help you needed to find good ol' OS 5. (I still have it, didn't upgrade when I read of the annoyances with OS 6, so I'll wait for the next version). One suggestion...update your device information in your profile so that whenever you post, we'll know what you have.

One thing I noticed today when re-installing OS6 via Desktop Manager, it gave the option to downgrade to a few different versions of OS5 so if you have that installed on your computer you should be able to do it from there too
