Hi All,

Any insight or tips on the following problem?

My trackpad seems to sometimes not react at all for 3-10 seconds before it finally "catches" and zooms through the last several movements I've tried to make. The problem is gradually increasing in frequency and is totally irritating when it happens. I've been blaming it on the phone being nearly 2 years old and that I upgraded to OS6 a few months ago, but thought I'd check here for any ideas on how to address it. For reference in case it matters, my system memory is only about half used.

As a sidenote, I've also wondered if this problem could be at all related to a sometimes v..e..r..y long delay when I bring the phone out of sleep mode by pressing the lock button on the top left of the phone. Could OS6 alone be causing these types of super slow performance?

Try a battery pull, if it won't help you can try to reinstall your OS, it can solve the problem with your trackpad.. and if it won't then I think it's something with the hardware.
