Default I Keep Getting Blackberry Registration Emails.....

I upgraded to OS6 about a week ago. I keep getting emails:

"Your handheld has been registered with the wireless network"

    I'm on Verizon.

    What's up with that?

I as well keep getting them. And I'm on sprint. I'm thinking it could be a bad load and would just have to reinstall it. Will try that in the morning. I keep getting all my messages when I come out of the subway.

As mentioned in multiple threads in this forum, its a network glitch. Change your wireless setting from global to 1XEV and it will stop

Had the same problem, thanks missenvy. It's difficult to find a solution when searching the forums when the titles of each post contain such vague references to what the problem is.

    Default Blackberry Registration

I am on the phone with Blackberry right now and they have no idea what is going on. Since about the 15 I have been receiving the same messages. My suggestion to all of you is that you contact your carrier and have them put you in touch with BB. I can tell you that I have changed every setting including going to 1XEV and I still get them. I did not have them when I was on the 5.0 os and did not have them when I first went to the 6.0 os. Verizon even sent me another phone and within a minute or two of activating that phone I had the same problems.

There is a way that BB can log what is going on and get to the bottom of this problem and make everyone happy. If you do get the registration message DO Not DELETE IT. From the time on that message they can go into their records and find out exactly what happend at that time to cause the problem.

Hopes this helps eveyone that is having this problem.

Yay I am not alone. Thanks everyone for posting about this. Now I know.
The boyfriend laughs at me every time I mention what I did today on Crackberry...he calls me an addict.
