Just a screen protector for me, phone is too beautiful to cover up. No one, and I mean nobody, touches my phone but me either. The girlfriend isn't even allowed to touch, I hold it when I want to show her something on it.
I also have what I call, "the six-pack cutoff," after 6 or more beers it stays in my pocket.
Applies to my 9550 too, both phones have zero scratches and have never been dropped, not even on carpet... - 09-14-2010, 07:55 PM

I was doing the same thing, using a silicone case from my Tour (it fit fine). But case got a tear in it so I switched to a snap on hard case. I think it's muffling my voice ever so slightly. (I got a complaint of sounding muffled so I did a test using voice recorder and case on/case off. Definitely clearer with case off.)
So I might switch back to silicone. I have to have something, I'm too klutzy.

Protection? Of course I've got protection
I have a Body Glove snap on plus a screen protector. I've been known to drop my berry a time or to, so I went the Body Glove route thru ebay....cost abt $13 if I recall.
It seems to work very well. After I figured out how to take it off w/o breaking the locking tabs, its been smooth sailing. It has a leather feel to it around the sides, so its very comfortable to hold, regardless of the weather. It's not bulky, so I can slide it in and out of my pocket with ease.
It works for me. Well. The Criminal Justice system........just another oxymoron!

Recently bought the Case-Mate Fuel Lite
It's pretty good in terms of protecting my BB9650.
Love the fact that it serves as an emergency battery so I dont have to worry about charging it or carrying an extra batt.
Everyone is whining about the bulkiness of the Case-Mate...but I love it.
I've figured out a way to secure the case without it sliding off by merely pulling it out of your pocket...
Man...I love my BB9650 and Case-Mate FL. - 09-18-2010, 03:20 PM #16

I just got my black Incipio Feather case in and it feels much better in my hand and when using the phone than the CaseMate Hybrid Tough did. As I said before, the CaseMate is a nice case, just not what I am used to so decided to switch. The Incipio case offers better than expected coverage of the corners of the device, although hopefully I never have to test it out It is made for the Tour so the charging port opening is just off, but I've still been able to charge just fine with OEM and non-OEM cables and adapters. Definitely a nice case for those looking for a minimalistic approach that still shows off the good looks of the device. At $14.63 with free shipping on eBay, it's a nice and cheaper alternative to the Barely There as well, and has more color offerings.

Not to continue to beat a dead horse (I have read the other 6 billion posts about cases), but what is the consensus on the easiest case to use for a person that uses the charging dock? And no, not the silicon skin. Is there anything I can use along with BodyGuardz that will fit into the holster and is easily removed (and durable) for the charging dock?
“The most dangerous man, to any government, is the man who Is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost invariably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane and intolerable, and so, if he is romantic, he tries to change it. And if he is not romantic personally, he is apt to spread discontent among those who are.”
