You might have more responses if you include a little more information. What precisely are you attempting to do here? Did you change something and now want to change it back? Maybe a lot of somethings? There is no one-button solution for fixing sound profiles. You'll have to change each item in each profile one at a time just like when you first started changing things.

If you have access to a computer with BlackBerry Desktop Software (many still call it Desktop Manager), there are two methods to make this go a lot quicker.

    1. If you have a backup with the profiles as you want them, you can just restore that database over the sounds database on your phone using the desktop manager. Connect your phone to the computer, startup DM, and find RESTORE on the DEVICE menu. Choose your data file, then find SELECT DEVICE AND DATA SETTINGS. Scroll down to find the SOUNDS database and check the box. Hit RESTORE and then reboot the phone. Done.

    2. If you do not have a backup, then you should be able to delete the stored profiles on the phone by using the desktop manager. After connecting the phone to your computer and starting the desktop manager, step one is to MAKE A BACKUP. Then, open the DEVICE menu on the desktop manager and find DELETE DATA. Choose the bubble next to SELECTED DATA, then scroll down the list to find SOUNDS. Check the box next to SOUNDS and click DELETE. That will delete ALL the sound profiles that you had on your phone. If your phone does not then reboot, disconnect from the computer and do a battery pull.

When the phone restarts, you should have the profiles as they came when the OS was loaded. If for some reason this does not work the way you want, you can restore the backed up profiles in the desktop manager just like in method 1.

    Underway99:

A few weeks ago I tried changing the sound profiles for incoming text messages, facebook notifications, and phone calls. I messed around with beeps and vibrations and now I just want the original settings back. I tried your 1st step above but it didn't revert my profile change for incoming email as I just tested it.

Often these things can be a bit temperamental. You may have to delete the SOUNDS database as in method 2. Then let the phone make a new default SOUNDS database. .
