Default Hey, stop moving my tray!

I'm really not liking this tray business. I find it a whole bunch of trouble. I'm trying to scroll through the icons when POW it moves over to the next tray like the "favorites" or the "downloads." If I could just lock it on the "all" tray I'd be happy. I'm not really keen on downloading any themes because they are hit and miss when it comes to screwing up your phone. I had one theme that kept muting my phone so people couldn't hear me (I guess that was a plus for them).

Any suggestions?

I'm getting ready to get me Droid Razr soon, so if you can't think of anything, no biggie.

There isn't any way to lock the trays. Good luck with the Droid.

I must admit, the tray theme (OS6) took some getting use to. I have found some themes without the "tray" that works really well. Good luck with your future smartphone

There are hundreds of themes out there for your phone that do not use trays. They are called custom themes. The tray themes are called "default".

Hope you find what you're looking for.

Like Jaydee said, you will likely be much happier on OS 6 using a custom theme. Those pesky moving trays made me nuts too so the first thing I did was go find a cool free theme.

That's not an option on OS6 as far as I know. Unclick?

You're right JayDee, that feature is only available with OS 7.0 and OS 7.1.

Remember, you can hit the red End to take you back to the main/home tray. I use this all the time when I accidentally overshoot.

The OP has a 9650, not a 99xx. Your advice doesn't apply to the BB6 OS.

This "feature" is also present in BB7.x
