Default Help with unlocking
Currently looking at buying a 9650 from a friend who is on verizon. I'm on rogers (canada/GSM).. If I unlock the 9650, will I be able to use it?

yes, however you will only get EDGE, not 3G.

Not a huge difference as rogers uses EDGE as well.

The difference will be that you cannot use voice/data simultaneously unless connected to WiFi for the data.

Also, data speeds will be slower on EDGE.
