Help! Downgrading from OS6 to 5, BBSAK error
So after upgrading to OS 6 (MISTAKE!) I immediately knew I had to go back to 5.0.
I read a TON of posts about Crackberry 101's before attempting this but I'm running into some problems.
I have backed up everything, downloaded 2 versions of 5.0 on my computer to be safe, and downloaded BBSAK as recommended at http://crackberry.com/blackberry-302...-blackberry-os
My problem is now trying to load the OS onto my blank 507 screen blackberry! BBSAK keeps loading and freezing. And BBerry desktop software can not connect to the blackberry.
Is there another program or another way to install 5.0 on my now blank blackberry? Help please if you can!

Try un-installing BlackBerry Desktop, re-booting, downloading the latest version and installing that. I managed to somehow over time have a version of the LOADER.EXE installed that was not compatible with my BB Desktop version. With a clean BB Desktop, I was able to have a clean install of the carrier supplied version of OS 5.
