Default HELP!!! Bold 9650 won't connect to the computer

I have a puzzling problem that I need to rectify asap. I recently installed desktop manager 6.0 for my bold 9650. The install and the phone sync started fine but the second time I went to plug the phone in the computer acknowledged the USB connection but the software wouldn't. I've tried everything including reinstalling the software and now I can't even get past the initial setup screen. I don't understand what's going on and I hope someone can help. Thanks.

Try uninstalling & reinstalling DM through the control panel settings. If that fails, get a registry cleaner such as Ccleaner (I think that's what I used).
