A few questions

Hello, I have recently gotten a blackberry bold (9650) and was wondering a few things after failing to find them under search.

1. Is there any I can download/do to have several LED light colors? I've seen people with blue LED lights before and was wondering how they did that!

2. Can you send an entire sms chat to an e-mail or document it somehow?

3. It came to my attention after making this account that there is some new software for the BB? Is this 6.0 worth getting over 5.0? What are the benefits?

1. Yes, check out BerryBuzz in the App World.

2. Not sure, sorry!

3. Yes, 6.0 is the latest OS for the BB. There are tons of benefits, but the #1 reason to switch for me was to increase the boot time.

3. OS 6 is the latest upgrade for the 9650. The Sprint official release .415 has been out for a couple of weeks. There's quite a few leaks/hybrids floating around and the new Verizon official should be released in a few weeks. For me OS 6 runs smooth and is faster.

1. Free version of BuzzMe is not bad for starters, BuzzMe Pro & Premium add more features for $2-5 and BerryBuzz for $5-6 is great for more advanced features, all available in the CrackBerry App World.
2. Don't think so, but have not tried every file manager and/or texting app out there to know for sure.
3. Yes, os6 is latest device software for Sprint, however Verizon has not released their os6 yet, but will within 1-2 weeks.

1. Color LED found on AppWorld. There is a free option and a paid version. Have fun!!!

1. BerryBuzz Rocks!

2. BBSAK has a screen capture. I have used it to document and save text conversations.

3. Get used to your BlackBerry and OS 5 before you upgrade...I think it was easier to learn the ways of the Berry on the older OS's. There are so many setting options now that you couldn't get to straight from a menu it can be overwhelming!

2. As far as SMS chats, I always create a backup (for my phone) with DM and then the resulting .ipd file can be read with a program for the PC called ABC Amber Blackberry Converter. It shows all the SMS saved in the ipd or backup file.

Is this what you were asking about?

PS I have not tried this under threaded chats in OS6 tho to be honest so....if it doesn't work, don't kill the messenger. lol
PPS I just tried it and it DOES list all the SMS in a chat.
