I love the extra battery, but hate the bulk, just the normal turn down backlighting and frequency on your updates for those apps that require it. But I will admit, the extra power is great to carry around instead of carrying around a charger.

Seidio makes great products as to Mugen.

+1 for the Seidio, aka MOAB. It's what I use, along with a resin case. Without using the back it fit's nicely, and maintains the original size.

Another person here with the extended. Keep it on all the time and never have to worry about going dead. Also a Seidio. Case mate case on top of it fits fine.

Yes, you can. The extended battery cover narrows back down to the original cover size down at the bottom.

Except, I would have to be honest and say that the door on the seidio one is pretty poorly made. The clip broke off mine after just a few times of taking the back off for battery pulls and the little "seidio" logo nameplate on the back is just a paper-like substance that peeled off instantly. So the back of my phone looks pretty ugly but it DOES cover the battery. What can I say? The quality did not live up to the 59 dollar pricetag.

I agree with the comments about the Seidio extended battery cover. It is poorly made. The clip on my cover was slightly to long. I couldn't remove the cover after installing it. I had to slip a thin sheet of metal (a scale/ruler) between the cover and BB to push on the clip from the inside. I got the cover off, but scratched the antenna (the large metal coating at the inside bottom of the BB) during the process. I wasn't a happy camper.

When my Seidio battery started quickly losing charge, I bought an extended battery from Verizon Wireless. It was 2200 mAh, compared to 2600 mAh for the Seidio. The battery cover was well made. It doesn't have any logo on the back and it fit well. I get "special" discounts because my employer has a deal with Verizon. The VZW extended battery (with cover) costs $37.49.
