Default Dropped Bold 9650 and the backup .bbb seems empty

I dropped my bold 9650 2 days ago and the screen is broken. I plugged it in to my laptop and the desktop software recognizes it and lets me back it up, however using magicberry the file is completely empty. Is it possible all my data got destroyed when the phone was dropped?

The backup files from the phone are over 4MB, compared to a backup from and older phone which is 1MB which magicberry can pull data from.

I hope my new 9650 can be restored with this backup.

If magic berry doesn't work, you could try BerryGrab. http://berrygrab.com/

Sent from my Lumia 900 using Board Express

There might be a chance that the backup is corrupted, that is why the software encounters difficulty in opening it. You could try using another software called Blackberry Backup Extractor. It can open corrupted backups, or you may send the file to their support team to have it manually extracted for you.
