Download problems after OS 6 upgrade - VZW

I just updated my OS from 5.0 to 6.0 via the update utility on my BB 9650. After the upgrade, I'm trying to download anything really, appworld, themes, and it gets hung up on the download. Basically when it looks like it gets to 100% of the download, it will lock up. I've let it sit over night, pulled the power and reset the device, but I still cant download anything...

Has anyone seen this issue?

I have never liked doing an OTA update for a number of reasons. One of them is the large amount of space that OS6 takes up on top of OS5. The other is that there may be problems such as what you encountered.

I would wipe the device and download the OS from VZW (for .524) or Sprint (for .600) or MTS Mobility (for .587) and do the install yourself using Apploader.

I second jaydee. When you do an ota os update it is asking for hang ups and lag.

Its a great option but can breed so many issues.

Jaydee is spot on, OTAs suck. Wipe your device and reload your OS (524) via apploader/USB cable.
