Call log bug:Assigns wrong name to incoming calls from non-contacts
When I get a call from someone not in my contacts, the call log correctly logs the phone # but assigns it to the last person I called who is in my contacts. And, that recent contact call is lost from the call log. Essentially, it's mashing up multiple related calls into a single entry.
The caller ID does not display this erroneous name while ringing, as in this bug. But, once the call's ended, the log shows "<Name of Person in My Contacts>" over the phone #.
It doesn't happen every time I get a non-contact call (but I haven't found a pattern yet).
I've confirmed that the #s aren't actually being assigned to the contacts. But if I create a contact for the phone #, the call log shows correctly for the previously unknown contact, but the outgoing call to the contact is completely lost. (If I leave it alone & don't assign a contact, the wrong pairings remain, even as the call gets pushed down in the log.)
And, I'm running AddOnIs, set to log incoming/outgoing calls to my calendar. Those calls are correctly displayed on the calendar, without the wrong name assigned to them.
Suggestions? Fixes? Many thanks, T
