Default Calendar Agenda Jumps ahead

On a clean install of .587, Calendar is on Agenda View. I open the calendar and see today's date and entries for a second. Then it jumps to a date in the future, usually by a few months. I've seen this posted before as an issue but I've never seen a real resolution. I do use Google Sync for my calendar and contacts. Right now I'm deleting Google Sync, clearing all entries from both calendar and contacts and going to re-install Google Sync again.

I never had this problem running hybrids...

I saw this posted as a solution:

Quote:
Have "Show Free Time in Agenda View" selected in the Calendar display setup (under Options). It should go to today's date once you do this.
I don't use agenda view, but I've switched views to see if it happens on mine, so far it works fine, even without that option checked.

While choosing "Show Free Time in Agenda View" makes the problem go away, it's not really a solution if I don't want to see the free time cluttering up my already too crowded agenda. But thanks for the thought. So far that is the only partial "fix" I've seen.

I don't think there really is a solution, it's a bug and there's plenty of those in RIM OS's. Maybe you should swap cods from another OS.

Yeah, maybe I'll just go back to the hybrid. Everything just worked better with that. I thought I'd try the plain jane factory OS but I find too many "bugs" to keep me happy.

From what I've seen, the hybrids don't really "fix" anything either, other than the OS number reported in Help Me

Well the hybrids absolutely DO fix this "problem" as proven by my last, hmmmmm, 5 OS updates. I swap around often and haven't really played much with the straight OS since last year. Its a bug, OSBB fixes it. I guess I'm a bigger fan of hybrids now.

It "fixes" it by changing the cods. Which is what I said waaaaaaaaaaaay back in post #4. But that's not really fixing it either, it's just a different "work around" like the Show Free Time work around.

Fix, work-around, whatever you want to call it. It works for me and I guess that's what matters. I'm not smart enough to find the specific cod to correct the problem or I wouldn't have made this post in the first place.

I suppose its possible someone has actually found a solution that works, besides a hybrid. I'm willing to try it.
