Angry Blackberry data issue?

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Bold 9650 off Craigslist and while it activated fine on Verizon (I can call and text and get 3G coverage and such) RIM seems to be having trouble associating my BIS account with the new phone. Should I just make a new BIS account? Or just wait it out?

I've never really heard of something like this before, but I get the feeling I'm not alone.

Also, if it makes a difference the phone is unlocked and DOES NOT have the Verizon SIM that's included normally.

Thanks,
robotlovesong

Your Bold could still be associated with the previous owner's BIS account...you'd have to ask him/her to call Verizon to have the phone disassociated from it.

As for the SIM card, it's only used for international roaming.
