Hey guys,


I have been reading a lot of posts about certain apps that turn off your blackberry's shutter sound. I searched all of them in the app store and cannot find any of them. Mind you these posts were made years ago so that explains it. Does anybody know any up-to-date app that can turn off my shutter sound for my blackberry bold when i take a picture? Thank you so much in advanced....

@SCrid2000 I am definitely interested, is it located in the blackberry app world? If so what key term do I search for it, cause I already tried....

I got it on sale, $5 is a little steep. But I don't know that anything else would work; QuickLaunch didn't do this for me. Try what Analog Rocker suggested first, and the trial for CameraToGo to make sure you like it.

i tried quick launch, there is no option....

In the camera hit menu and select QL mute. That will mute the shutter.

You may have to go into QL options and select Yes next to "Add Camera Mute to System Menu." It's works for me.

If you really wanna be sneaky, pretend to be "having a conversation" then "aim" your phone (held to your head) towards whatever you want to take a picture of.
