Default bb 9650 bold redlight no boot cycle...any help???

I got my hands on a few salvage phones and one in particular looks brand new...bb 9650 bold...when i insert a juiced up battery or use the power adapter...the redlight cones on for 5 second then off for another 5 second...it continues to do that non stop....no hour glass sign or boot....it does this as when even with out a battery but with the usb cable....I tried to use os loader but, it only catches it for about 15 seconds and then restarts the cycle...I installed the OS and used the loader...IT gets through the first step

Load JVM and system software (check)
wait for device initialization (stuck here,...5 second redlight cycle begins)

am sure someone else might have come across this before...any help would be great...thanks in advance

Still no luck,..the appLoader seems to get stuck while waiting for the device initialization because the blackberry begins the on and off cycle after the first step ---> Load JVM and system software...

Do you have win7? If so try going into your power options and setting your usb ports to never power down.

    ...
That is very encouraging, the Java VM software is being loaded and the Loader software is ready to proceed with the OS install.

You mention seeing LED activity. Have you tried leaving it alone and giving it a full chance to complete the loading process? Don't be concerned about activity, it can take 30 min or more for this step to complete.

I had an 9630 in a similar reboot cycle that I salvaged by charging overnight, then doing a wipe with JL_Cmder (out of habit with phones I've picked up from other people), then doing a battery pull and firing up Loader.

    Default cell shop

I Took it to a cell phone repair shop and they said that they could not recover and there is a possibility one of the lcd's might be bad....when i think about about it...that could be possible...since there is no sign of lcd activity. Only the red flashing light. Anyways..I just might end of selling it as-is...but most would want a give away price ...but again i think they might not know what they are doing...so it still might be a OS issue.

    Default Help!!!

Hi i just got a bb9650(need to have a noncam so bought it) used it for only 2 days. Den today when i woke up i found that its unable to power on even though it was on full charge yesterday(did not charge it overnight). Tried pulling out the battery and charging it but the screen won't even light up. the only response i get from the phone is the red led light that will light up for a solid 5-20 seconds when i charge the phone or when i insert the battery. going to try charging it overnight tonight and attempting to get a new battery to test with it. Anyone has ever came across this problem please kindly help me out :/ bought it as an export handset so no warranty. Just 2 days only :/ emoz Thanks!

the lcd isn't hard at all to replace i had to do it after water damage got my 9650, theres youtube videos you can find and the lcd off of amazon was only 30 bucks. I knew it was the lcd because even though the screen was really dark i could see the loading bar behind it so i would try to verify it is the lcd because like i said REALLY easy fix
