Default asurion replacement!!

I've been having problems with my bold 9650 for awhile and I told asurion. After two replacements they sent, I am getting my new bb 9930 tomorrow at no extra charge and not extending my contract! I'm so thrilled!!! :-)

That's cool. I'm hoping in a few months the same will happen to me. In just waiting for seidio to launch a ext battery. I'm spoiled with my ext on my 9650. Lol

Congrats tho!

Nope no contract ext. I paid one deductible and they sent out two phones under their warranty. After raising ****, they offered to send me the new bb 9930. Contract still ends same time and no extra charges!

i had a 9650 out of warranty and spilled a drink on it and ruined it. Due to extenuating cicumstances Asurion agreed to swap the phone out at the Verizon store. They don't carry the 9650 anymore, so the gave me a 9930 for the deductible. Finally the question. Is the 9930 replacement under Blackberrys one year product warranty from Verizon.

If its brand new in the box and sealed, your warranty starts a year from that day you activate it.

At least that's what happened to me and the iPhone 4 on AT&T with asurion.

wow, this is crazy... i have a 9650 and an iPhone4 on vzw (with asurion)... i switch back and forth because i need the password keeper (and i love my bb too)... well i dropped my bb and got it wet.. afraid to call asurion and not really sure i wanted to pay $90 for another 9650... i wonder if they would tell me if i would get a 9930 for the same deductible?

It would depend on what they have available when you call.

since you have sprint did they add the extra $10 monthly data fees for the premium data?
they always said they wouldn't charge if you didn't buy a new phone i.e. a warranty replacement but i have been told by a sprint contact that they are charging now.

They are. I had a 9630 w/out the charge and got a 9650 as a warranty replacement about a month ago and they added the premium data on there.
