Is anyone dropping the 9650 for the bold touch?
Are you guys going to drop the bolds you guys have now for the touch one? And do you think this phone will also put RIM back on top? Or close to it? I'm just curious how current bold users feel about the touch bold

I'm hoping it's going to be as good as it sounds and I'll pick it up as my NE2 is soon.

I'll be the guy in the parking lot at 5am on the release date! This will hopefully keep BlackBerry on top where I think they are already. Just my opinion though! I am not as excited about the touch screen as I am the faster processor and BB7!

I'm going to suffer with my 9650 until the QNX phones come out. My contract will be up by then and I will have an upgrade.

Nope. The Bold Touch is the size of the 9000, right? Too big for my tastes. Don't want a touch screen, either.
Besides, my 9650 is "enough phone for me" right now.
And what carriers are going to offer it?I'll Always Be Ramblin' in Rehab: Where the real Bold addicts are!

Ditto. Toying with trading my 9650 in for more $, but I will likely hold onto it as a backup, just in case. Unless the 9930 is more than $199.
I am a huuuuuuge fan of column view. But I feel like the touch screen will make some of that moot. Not all....but some. - 05-03-2011, 08:44 AM #18

"They" say that Sprint will offer it late in Q2 of this year...

Without a doubt. The day Verizon releases it. I'll probably give my 9650 to my son.

The screen is only slightly larger than the 9650(.4") so it will be interesting to see how well it works for touch flo. I'm really happy to see the touchpad included. This could be a really sweet device. I don't think the slightly larger size is going to be a bad thing at all, more ease of use is all. I think RIM is touting this as their thinnest ever BB.
