any way to turn OFF address bar "history search"?
When I try to enter or change a URL in the browser address bar, deleting or entering characters is VERY laggy/slow. It appears to search through all of my history/bookmarks to find matching URLs to the address i am entering.
I simply want to be able to enter an address and go to it. Any way to turn OFF this feature? To me, it is worse than useless.
Please note that I am NOT referring to performing a search engine search through the address bar.
Thanks.

You could try going to browser options and at the very bottom is 'Clear Browsing Data'. This should speed up your internet searches.

John, what OS are you using? That might help folks give more/better feedback about what might be going on. You can put it in your avatar header info for reference.
