Default 9650 with T-Mobile

I recently bricked my old phone and now the only phone I'm able to use is an unlocked Bold 9650 from Verizon. I've changed the service to GSM, entered the APN to epc.tmobile.com and changed my service plan to Blackberry internet. I'm able to call and text, use Gmail and BBM, but Facebook and the internet browser won't work.

I know I'll be stuck on Edge.

You'll need to manually load the T-mobile service books, search for the guide on this forum, it's been asked a million times.

By the way, are you running OS5 or OS6?

If so, then I don't know if this is the case with Verizon Branded Blackberries as well but I've found that with OS6, APNs for other carriers won't work for some reason (my Blackberry would still try to connect to the default one no matter what)

With OS5, this wasn't the case, I could enter a carrier APN and be able to access the internet through that without any issues.

Not that this would be a big issue though, since BBM, Internet Browsing (with the default browser) and most third-party apps (with the exception of streaming services) all access data through the blackberry.net APN which works .
