I Google'd for the error but only came up with stuff for BES and not BIS and especially nothing for .431 yet. I was trying to take a picture and then the phone went to a white screen and before i could read it all it reset, I did see part of the message saying generic heap, seems like its running a bit slower? any ideas before i bbsak wipe and rewrite?

Make sure if you are using "smart wifi" app, turn ti off before using the camera. You can just select deactivate.

There have been many reports that "Smart Wi-Fi" causes the device to reboot when using the camera, there were some other things that impacted it as well as I remember. Search this forum as there were multiple threads that dealt with this problem.

thank you for the responses but i dont remember ever downloading it I just use the regular wifi management. I think what I did (because it just happened again this morning) was my gps was turned on for like (geo-location pictures?) and I'll turn that off to see if that helps. Should I bother to call either RIM or VZW to let them know theres a problem or waste of time? If it continues I am just going to wipe I guess and start over.

Unfortunately, the camera reboot thing is a problem with OS6.
Other than eliminating Smart Wi-fi and reinstalling the OS, I have no idea if anyone has a successful resolution to this.
You might want to call VZW and yell a bit and see if they have had other complaints about the same prob.
