I'd like to start developing my own themes. What I'd like to know is, on average, about how much time does it take from start to finish to create a decent theme? Thanks for the help.
Usually takes me close to a month at least but I do a lot of testing on my phone to make sure it works and I like to use my own custom icons which makes the whole process longer again. Mine are based off copyrighted material so there's certain things I have to keep to stay in tune with the original style and the biggest drawback of that is I can't charge for the theme but I doubt you can make a good living off it anyway.

I've spent 20-plus hours on a theme before.. making it right, tweaking fonts, icons, etc.. I'm somewhat of a perfectionist in my themes, so if I see something that isn't right or if someone needs something tweaked.. i'll do it.. customizing icons, resizing them, etc takes a long time as well.
