Download a Today theme. You can find some in the Bold Theme section.

As Chrisy said, any "Today Theme" will work but this app will turn any theme into a Today Theme (with many options including number of appointments, position, size, etc.):

You should really check it out. It's a fantastic app for anyone who needs a lot of appointments listed on the home screen. (It also has BerryWeather integration turning any theme into a Today theme along with a weather slot.)The developer is also very responsive and there is a thread on it:
