Do you need to buy the decent themes ?

some really great themes are free, others you need to pay for. try this forum, and pimpmyberry.com. also gadgetbean.com and blueroomsolutions.com. many of the theme builders just want a donation as well.

There are some great themes out there for free.
If you don't mind spending a bit ..... Ecruz's themes are very well priced and the quality is second to none!

I think if you looked through all these theme sites, you'd answer your own question. free themes don't always mean less quality. I've bought some and found them to be not near as customized as some of the free ones you can find.
