So I've finally found a great today theme for my Bold, only to realize that it suffers from the font bug found in the newest 4.6 OS betas. In short, the text in the three fields (date, topic, location) overlap, and are unreadable. I've encountered this issue with .234 and .237...

To resolve it, I went back to 4.6.0.167, the default official AT&T release that came on my Bold. Unfortunately this release, as we all know, has its own bugs (battery life, inconsistent 3G signal, etc. etc. etc).

So, my question is: What is the latest good 4.6 OS that DOES NOT have this Today screen bug, and where can I find it?

Edit: Turns out I actually don't know the difference between the beta's and the stable OS releases, since I just download whatever pops up in the crackberry blog. So let me reiterate, beta or stable release, I'm lookin' for the latest Bold OS w/out this bug.

Have you noticed any improvements or issues with .185 vs .167? Is it worth the upgrade? And you say it works with your today theme?

I think all the betas have the font issue. But a cool theme for betas is....

No issues at all. I got an increase in battery life and resource management also improved. I usually stay around 26-31 on memory and do not get the hourglass. Works fine, I have no reason to upgrade further. I'm not a fan of the Today Theme, but I tried it for a short time (about a day) and had no issue.

.185 was by far the worst OS I've ever had on any device. I'm running .210 with a today theme and there is no font issue. .210 is a Beta, but it is very stable.
