I have AT&T and I did not buy the data plan. I know I have asked this before but I never got a yes or no answer. The wifi set up runs fine and i connect to my home network and it says connected when i run the set up. On the manage connections screen the wifi does not have a green check through it but instead a white dash. When i shut off mobile network and i have the wifi turned on when I use Hotspot browser the internet works which i'm assuming is wifi. Can I have a yes or no answer am I connected to the wifi or not? If the mobile network is turned off and im using the internet theres no chance I can be charged for internet use through AT&T right?

Yes your right, you will know if your using wifi because the icon will be white and not grey. If you shut ur mobile network off then there's no way it will use the mobile network for data unless u turn it back on.
