Default What's your favorite OS and why?

I would have to say that mine is 4.6.0.247. Fast, stable, no crashes, and amazing battery life. Compared to .266 and .282, this is the most stable and has had the least amount of issues for me.

I really like the new Bold Hybrid. It's stable, good battery life and gave me back a ton of memory. I just hate that Viigo doesn't work. Great build.

I haven't had any issues whatsoever with 5.0.0.100, I can go for about a day and a half on a fully charged battery and all the 3rd party apps that I use work fine with it, even BBM 5.

.282 for me. Better memory, less dropped calls, and being able to switch to 2G is priceless.

.282 for sure. Better battery life, better memory, able to switch between 2G and 3G, no dropped calls, and no crashes.

.282 to use edge. Funny how 3G is a big part of this phone yet so many people use edge instead.

I'm having absolutely fantastic luck with BBCrackman's 4.6.0.282/5.0.0.100 hybrid build. All the benefits of .282 with a faster and more stable browser. It also has BBM5 already installed, for people who are into that. I removed it when putting the OS on my phone as I've never found a use for BBM.

    ^^ lol

My 282 has a rubbish battery life. Very tempted to go hybrid or back to 266. Maybe I should give it another day.

I like .282 but really only for memory and browser speed (as if that's not enough!). I have never had resets or dropped calls, and I can already do the 2G/3G switch on Rogers. But I do think .282 is solid and good on battery life, too.

Rogers .282. I tried the asian .282 and had memory leaks and other issues. With Rogers .282 I have better reception, battery life, faster browser and more memory.

Crucial_Extreme has stated that there is absolutely no difference in different releases of the same beta...i.e. .282 asian vs. rogers.

I think there can be some packaging differences but the BlackBerry OS files are supposed to be identical.
