Weird Browser Issue
Starting a couple of days ago whenever i lock my Bold, either holstering it or manually, my browser goes back one page, or exits if it is the first page I have opened. It does this in both Internet Browser and Blackberry Browser. I have turned memory cleaning on and off, pulled the battery many times, changed default browser (between the aforementioned two). I upgraded last week to OS .297 It does not matter if the browser is in the foreground or not, but if it is when I unlock it I can sometimes see it refreshing to the previous page. I have looked for an answer everywhere, and since i use the browser all the time, and due to the nature of my job I am constantly holstering it this makes the browser, useless.
Thanks in advance. - 09-03-2009, 03:50 PM #2

I'm guessing that you've already opened the browser, options, and cleared the cache?
Also try connecting to DM, going to advanced and clearing browser info.
can't hurt...iTouch & EVO 4G - 09-04-2009, 08:51 AM #5
This is what happens when using the back button while in the browser, so for some reason either via the OS or the hardware this is being executed. A wipe may be in order.
Why would you lock your phone with your browser running? Seems like a bad idea.Tronyx's Important & Popular Blackberry Links (This one is worth the visit, Kids)

I go from user's desk to user's desk, and ride the elevator alot, so while waiting I will for reboots, and such will surf the internet, I will then holster my bold when I need my hands so it is not just laying around. I work in an enviroment that requires a lot of security, and my Bold has a lot of info and access. I will try attaching it to DM, i had the BES admin resend my service books to.
