Watermark-like blue print on my screen after texting in heavy rain. Help? :(

I was texting while it was raining heavily, and my phone got wet.

Now my screen looks all blue; I suspect that some of the rain got into the phone?
It's currently submerged in rice, and I've already used the blowdryer, but how else can I get rid of the stain?

if water actually got under the screen (which I dought, due to screen construction) if it dried and left a stain you wont get rid of it as the only way would be to physically wipe the underside of the glass.
but as I said, due to the construction of the display I would guess water may have got in and is causing a problem electronically!

the only hope you have is to place in dry rice and stick it in the airing cupboard for a week, obviously with out the battery in it.
