Hi,
I have a bold 9000 (Yes very old but waiting for the BB 10 !!) I upgraded to OS 5 sometime ago. I have very few applications installed but the maximum memory I have at any given time (Even after battery pull) is 12 MB. Pls see attached screen-shot.

Any help on what I could do to improve this would be greatly appreciated, since I am needing to restart my bb almost twice a day (and with os 5 it drains the battery too - any help with that also greatly appreciated)

try shrinking your os or do a complete renewle of the os and download your apps again

Try downloading Quickpull App. It will clean some memory for you while restarting your phone. Helps me a lot ..and gets my phone working at full performance
