Default usb device not recognized

okay im stuck ive tried everything here,this is my issue okay i updayed my bolds os (of course who didnt lol) now everything was fine so i went and set up my firewall on my phone,well i use youmail as my vm now im getting the message youmail has attempted to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewallwhich is not allowed by ur IT well im not on any IT thing here.so thats fine it says that but the message wont go away long enough for me to access my options all i need to do is disable the firewall and all will be fine,well then i run in to the problem of well what the title says i plung it in to my comp lookin to manually unistall youmail so that i can atleast get to the options and fix this well its saying that the device plugged in has malfuntioned no what in gods name do i do here

I know right my phone is basically a brick thank god I have the storm but I'm not a big fan of the storm

I occasionally get the same message on my PC as well. All I have had to do is unplug and switch usb ports...you will get the same error on the other but when you switch back it should pick it up...give it a try it works for me. Hope this helps

I've tried that also and same,I've also switched usb cables so I just rebooted the computer hoping that'll work,for a min u thought it was maybe the plug in on the bold but it works fine with the charger I'm wondering if its the computer,or maybe the message restricting it from detecting the phone
