Uncaught Exception 215 & Missing SMS

So this morning I tried to send a text, and I noticed it wasn't sending out. I did a battery pull, and when the 9000 rebooted, I was presented with the error message "Uncaught Exception: Index 215 >= 215".

I searched for my SMS's but they're all gone, along with the SMS icon. I can't send or receive anything either.

Geniuses of Crackberry, please help.

first thing, do you use a memory card to store your photos, music, videos, and other files? if not please buy one and install it. this may be completely unrelated to your problem, but any blackberry without a memory card will eventually do some very strange things similar to what you're experiencing

one time i accidentally hid one of my email icons and because i purposely hid my "messages" folder, it seemed like i was missing the icon for that email account and also missing messages. this may be completely unrelated because you're also receiving the error message, but please ensure the sms icon isn't hidden accidentally

do you ever use blackberry desktop manager to backup your device, including sms? if so, you may need it because you might be in a situation where you've simply got to "security wipe" your device and reload the operating system from scratch, that is why i posted the "help" link in the beginning. so reload the os if you have to, and restore your backup file using the instructions found in that linkage atop my message

lastly, if you're eligible for an upgrade, please get a new bold touch 9900/9930 with a camera, lol, sorry - i'm just sayin' this because if you enjoy your 9000, well, you're gonna be madly in love with the new bold touch and blackberry 7
