trackball LED flickering???

I know you guys can't see my trackball, but it seems like its slightly flickering... And I don't wanna go through warranty to get a new bold.. I hate talking to them... That's besides the point and a whoile other topic entirely.

But is there a way to test the led or to just run some kind of program to only illuminate the tb?

All help greatly appriciated

Mine is 2 years old and it burns like new, sun and shining.
If it flickers there is a lose contact or something.

Happens to me, gets annoying sometimes. Wish the bold had the option to change colour like the old pearl series
