Hi, i'm aware of the trackball problems on all blackberrys but now mine is having difficulties.

The problem is when i try to scroll up, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Is there any solution for this? Or should i take it to service?

turn yoru blackberry upside down and violently move the trackball left, right, up and down. Chances are there is some dirt in there and this may or may not dislodge it.

just the nature of the beast on a cheaply made device.
but the Blackerry Bold is the Best device out there, don't let anyone tell you differently!.. The trackball is the wave of the future.. don't mind the kinks..

could be the little 4 rollers inside, I got the black one from cnn and installed it. Found that when scrolling it would get stuck sometimes, took it apart and swapped assemblies from the oem and now it works perfect. Caution when taking ball assembly a part as it's a little tricky.

Before you try to take the trackball apart, dip a Q-Tip in rubbing alcohol, dab it on the trackball, and move the trackball to get the alcohol on the rollers. My Curve had the same problem (couldn't scroll up), and the alcohol helped clean the roller. Took me all of 5 minutes.
