So I know the 9900 can tether wirelessly via os 7..

Anyone know of any way to do this in 9000? I know its probably about 3 years later of technology but I figured id ask. I didn't see any option in the os, I wonder if any apps out there will let me.

The 9000 does not have the hardware necessary to support being a WiFi Hotspot.

You might be able to tether via Bluetooth with the BlackBerry Desktop Software. But it likely will be slower than tethering via USB.

I tether to my playbook via bluetooth. Works perfect.

Oh thanks. Ever to a laptop? I don't have a playbook. How did you do it?

Just turned bluetooth on both devices and it works. Maybe its a bridge thing. Havent tried a non bb device yet.
