    Default Syncing form iTunes

When I sync files from my iTunes using the Desktop manager to my BB I got 92 songs that wouldn't sync. The message I got was: "Cannot be played on your BB, Protected digital rights management." I'm syncing to my SD card, now as i'm typing this it just occurred to me. Should I just remove my SD and sync the music to the card separate? Is it that RIM just wont let certain copy written mp3 files be added? The more I think about it, they just seem to be the albums I purchased off of iTunes.

It's dumb but DRM protected songs they are trying to prevent from being distributed to other devices, etc. It's an Apple agreement with RIM that won't allow you to do this. HOWEVER, There are ways around getting DRM songs onto your device or removing DRM from the song.....Won't post that here since it is illegal, if you need assistance, google is your friend.

Same thing happened to me on my PC, but I use PocketMac for Berry on my Macbook and I can fully upload any and all songs right to my Bold, DRM or Not!

if you buy a song on itunes you can not sync it to your media card...you need to burn those songs onto a cd first then reload them into itunes

Ah I see. I think I'll just try to burn them to a cd first. That's some BS though! Thanks for the responses.

Instead of burning to a cd, then ripping it to a mp3.

You should try one of these.

    Remove DRM protection

you can also upgrade i tunes to 8.0... then in the i tunes store upgrade your purchased music to I tunes Plus- this removes the DRM. The those songs should transfer fine.
