Default SMS texts not showing HTML

I just purchased a Bold 9000 with 4.6 OS and my SMS text messages are plain text, not HTML, so I can't clickon any links. I've looked in the sttings menu and I can't find a way to fix it anywhere. Can someone help me?

    Thanks,
    Ray

So if I am sent a text message that contains a link, there is no way to follow that link? Example: I went to Google to look for an App to Sync my Google Calendar to my Blackberry Calendar and I was told to click on the "send to Phone" button and I would be sent an SMS text message with a link to follw to get ny app. So this kind of sucks! My Samsung Android's SMS texts recognizes HTML!

I know there's other ways, it's just that it's an inconvenience is all! What about BB's email client, it will handle HTML I hope

Your Samsung is purely recognizing the link is there - the SMS is not sent as html.

Your BlackBerry should recognize the links as well - both my 9810 and 9300 do - I just scroll up from the reply area and the phone picks up the link and highlights it to click and activate it.

Don't know why it doesn't? In my Samsung's SMS's, they may not be recognizing HTML, but any links show up blue and underlined, and are clickable, not so with my Bold 9000; with it, if I try and click, it just highlights the character that the cursor arrow is on.

Thanks for your help, I'll keep looking for a solution.
