Settings to change browswer HOME page on menu
I am trying to eliminate use of media net in every regards. I have selected my default browser to be "black berry browser" from the list of four (hotspot browser, bB broswer, media net and internet broswer)
But even though I have selected my home page to be a different page than media net, when I click on HOME on the browser menu, it takes me to Media net home page which I HATE!!
Any ideas??

IN addition to setting my default browser to be bb browser, I ensured that I have a home page address set up under browser configuration. Yet if I browse away from my home page and then select HOME from the menu, instead of going to my home address, it takes me to stupid media net.
I also pulled the battery and cleaned the cache info and those did not help either.
Is thtere a way I can just remove all of media net off my device?

How about changing the default browser to Internet Browser. I'm not sure about this, but see whether it helps ...

I FIGURED IT OUT. Apparently because all my book marks were created when I was using media net they were still associated with media net. As such whenever I clicked on one of them, it automatically changed the browswer which explains why it would then give me the media net Home page.
All I did was to go into each bookmark (selecting Bookmark and choosing Edit Bookmark) and change the browser and the browser setting to my browser of choice. Alternatively I guess I could have deleted them and resaved them
I dont think this will be a problem in the future because all my new bookmarks are saved via the bb browser.
I still would like to know how to purge my device of media net and all its links and bookmarks.
thanks
any additional comments is appreciated

MediaNet is a peice of junk and should only be pre-loaded on cell phone cell phones, and not real phones.

I cant figure out even how to get the the media net home page bookmark from showing up on my normal book mark list even though I am not using media net as my browser.
If someone knows how to delete or hide the media net homepage book mark from the list or how to delete the whole media net crap, please let me know
thanks
