Send mms without data plan on 9000?

I'm on tmobile and have unlimited messaging w/o data. Included in the unlimited messages is unlimited pictures.

I was able to send unlimited pictures on my iphone 3g w/o a data plan but I get the message "no mms service record" on my blackberry 9000.

Shouldn't I be able to send mms?

if you have a BB data plan of some sort yes, otherwise the BB has no data access and we all know, without data access there is no MMS. The newer versions of BBs seem to have the ability but the older.

in the past, i have been able to send MMS photos on my 9000....as long as i was on a certain OS. i am currently on a hybrid and MMS is not an option, only email or share through facebook. if i go back to an official OS, it has been fine. I have NO blackberry data package and never have had one.

have you changed operating systems? if i am on a certain OS, it works. some dont, doesnt make sense.

I just got my phone, I don't know how to change operating systems.
